Janja Saves Kion

Recently I've thought that Kion of course would help his worst enemy if he got into trouble, but would Janja do the same? I suppose he would  So I felt like drawing some Janja-is-kind-deep-inside thing.

Before you ask, yes, he looks older here than in the TV show. I still think Janja and all the hyenas including Jasiri are shown as teenagers in the series... but they're not pups, just listen to Janja's rough voice! Their small size proves it, because adult hyenas must be much bigger than lion cubs (while Kion and Janja are nearly the same size). Also this may explain why Simba lets Kion and his Guard fight hyenas without any help of other lions. They simply don't seem to be as dangerous as adult ones could be.
